Mmm....pizza

I was totally craving pizza after work today so that's what we had. Tried the stuffed crust with toppings AND cheese in the crust from Pizza Hut. It was ok. Satisfied my pizza craving so that's good enough! :)

30 Weeks!

Only 7 more weeks and this little goofball is welcome to come! It's really winding down now!

I paid a whole quarter for this!

Andy found a quarter on my nightstand after we got home from school. I told him he could keep it if he would be in some pictures for me. This is what I ended up with! The little turkey didn't even smile in any! lol.. Oh well, they're still cute.

I love projects with Andy that involve paint.

We painted some letters for the baby's room today. I really love art projects that involve paint. Andy does too. :)

This is why I need a girl.

I really love how this little hat turned out. I'm moving on to try headbands now too. I just love making girly things. It's kind of addicting.

Remember when Easter was all about fun?

Not so much about rushing to the store at the last minute to buy candy/toys or food to make or making sure you have a cute outfit for your kids. Just fun. And chocolate.

I love being a mommy.

Do you ever have those days when you just think about your life and realize what you love about it? I absolutely love being a mommy. I love this kid. I love talking to him and watching him grow up. I love watching him learn new things. I love attending functions at school. I love taking him to see the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and Disney characters. I love when he tells me funny jokes. I love when he responds to my expressions of love and devotion with the words "butt" and "fart." I love holding him. I love rocking him at night. I love watching him sleep like he's still a little baby. I love watching him get excited about stuff. I love watching him play with his friends. I love watching him learning to swim and "talking to fish" in the base pool. I love talking to him about his birthday party and him telling me what he wants to do and who he wants to come. I love taking him bowling. I love watching him play games. (I could probably go on and on). I love that he loves me right back. I just love being a mommy. So much.

So proud of his own knowledge!

I hope this is a sign of things to come. Only a few months ago Andy barely knew any letters (by name) at all. At the recommendation of some of my fellow May mamas from babycenter I purchased the Leapfrog Letter Factory video and have also downloaded a few iPad games for learning letters. Andy can now recognize his letters almost 100% of the time (he has issues with calling I a 1 and doesn't always know what T is). I am so proud of him. And he is so proud of himself. He will now stop me to point out signs so that he can tell me the letters in them. At the doctor's office today he picked up a magazine and was telling me the letters in it. I am so glad he's enjoying learning!

Family Time at its Best!

Yep, I'm on the laptop, Andrew is playing on the iPad and Andy is playing with the Xbox Kinect. This is how we do family time. lol. Andy is actually really good at the sports games! I love watching him!

Almost through

This picture represents the two semesters of hard work that is my Anatomy & Physiology class. There's just a few weeks left of class and I will have completed it. Thank goodness for that! It's one of the hardest classes I've ever taken and I'm so glad to almost have it behind me!

I think he's on to me!

I wonder if he's already figured out that his mommy is a picture taking fool. He would NOT let my Doctor take a good picture today. He either had his hand in his face, or his foot. Or both. He was wiggling quite a bit as well. Still breech, but that's not a problem at this stage.

Baking Fun!

I know, I know, I missed a day of posting. Sue me. I've posted enough pictures to make up for it though. I decided we needed some cupcakes in the house so I enlisted my favorite helper to make some tonight. He did most of the work and didn't mind at all. :)








And of course he enjoyed the best part about baking cupcakes. :)

Swimming Lessons Take 2

Well it took a good 10 or so minutes just to get him into the water this time. I almost made him leave the pool with me. He was afraid to get in and I had to coax him to get in multiple times before he finally did. But once he was in there he turned into this little splashing booger.






He even went out with the instructor this time and did more than wear a scared face. He kicked with his feet and blew bubbles and everything. In the end he had fun but we've got a long way to go! I think we'll have to repeat this class before moving on.

Sunbathing dog.

Yep, he's probably the only member of this family who is able to enjoy sunbathing. Well, him and Buddy. The life of a dog is so stressful, you know? Especially when it's beautiful and sunny out.

My little swimmer!

Well I actually took a lot of pictures today but this one is my favorite. After much coaxing Andy *finally* got into the water at his first swimming lesson today and this was where his instructor took him around for the first time without him begging to be let back out to his mommy. It took a while for him to get comfortable but he really did enjoy himself in the end and is excited for his next class!

This was the only way to get the husband to be in a photo today, it was only of his hands! lol. I wanted to try this pose with him anyway. I think they turned out cute.

And feeling good! :) Third trimester according to some. Others say that's next week. Whatever..

This is all I got tonight. I'm tired and I'm trying to study. There's always fun to be had in the bath tub though. :)

What a smart boy!

I wrote "Grandpa" on a pad of paper and told him to write it down and this is what he came up with. He's getting so good with his letters, I'm so proud of him!

Look how nice the day started out!

This was the sky this morning around 7 am. Within a couple hours the sky completely clouded and the snow started falling. The day is actually ending pretty nicely also. About 2 hours ago the sky cleared up and the sun came out. A lot of the snow has melted, and it's actually pretty nice outside. Silly bipolar Cheyenne weather.

Fun at the lake

It's in the 70s today but very windy. That still didn't stop us from enjoying it a little bit. We went down to one of the base lakes to play and take some pics. My boys are so cute.
